I'm saying YES to sustainable seafood

Unsustainable fishing is decimating the world's fisheries, as well as destroying marine habitats and incidentally killing billions of fish and other marine animals each year.

I pledge to take action to protect our marine environment and support sustainable fishing.

In my local supermarket I will look for seafood products that carry the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) label and visit those stores that stock MSC-certified seafood.

If I can't find MSC-certified seafood I will ask my supermarket, fish store, or favourite restaurant to stock them.

I will also tell my friends, family and co-workers about sustainable seafood and encourage them to look for the MSC label.
